We have had 2046 members register for the Quran Drive during Ramadan 2023. This included 983 male members and 1063 female members. 1009 were under 25 of which 475 was under 15 and 534 between 15 and 25 years of age.

Of the members who registered, 40% of youth completed one reading of the Holy Qur'an

Youth : 524 (Under 15: 269 | 15 through 25 : 255)


Number of members who reported as completed: 936

Youth who completed one reading : 676

Youth who read at least one part but not completed : 504



A marked increase of number of youth (under 25) who completed one reading of the Holy Quran compared to last year. In the under 15 category, the number almost doubled

Since this was our first time doing this initiative, it was a good learning experience and we got a lot of feedback with words of encouragement and ideas for improvement. InshAllah we play to use the feedback to help improve this initiative. We trust that many more members actually completed one full reading of the Holy Quran during Ramadan as compared to what we were able to capture. This drive sets a baseline for us to help improve in future Ramadan.
